Meet Dr. Britney Ometz

Dr. Britney Ometz is the owner and provider at Anne Arundel Audiology. She has been an audiologist since 2018, working across all age groups and specialties in the field of audiology. She went to Towson University for her Bachelor’s degree and The University of Tennessee for her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in audiology. Her fourth-year clinical rotation was at the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center, where she honed her skills and developed a strong connection with the veteran population.

After graduation, Dr. Ometz worked in a private practice setting and in an ENT clinic. She also completed exit exams for active duty servicemembers and evaluations for veterans’ compensation and pension claims as a supplement to her daily work. After spending more time in private practice, she decided to open her own clinic so that she could shape hearing healthcare in a new way, providing greater access to hearing resources. She is a part of the American Speech-Language and Hearing association and regularly attends seminars to ensure she is utilizing the most up-to-date technology and best practices. Outside of clinical time, Dr. Ometz enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 dogs, traveling to new places, and connecting with friends.
