Dr. Britney Ometz

Dr. Britney Ometz, Au.D. is the owner and sole provider at Anne Arundel Audiology in Glen Burnie, MD. She has practiced as an audiologist since 2018 and works with patients of every age, from pediatric hearing assessments through hearing aid care for older adults. Every appointment at the practice is hers, so the person who tests your hearing is also the person who fits your devices and adjusts them for years afterward.

She earned her Bachelor's degree at Towson University, then completed her Master's and Doctoral degrees in audiology at The University of Tennessee. Her fourth-year clinical rotation took place at the Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center, where she built a lasting connection with the veteran community. After graduating she practiced in both a private clinic and an ENT setting, and she completed exit exams for active duty service members along with evaluations for veterans' compensation and pension claims. She still performs compensation-and-pension hearing evaluations today.

Dr. Ometz opened her own clinic in 2023 to widen access to hearing technology without giving up thorough diagnostics or verified fittings. As a Doctor of Audiology in Glen Burnie, she belongs to the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Maryland Academy of Audiology, and she attends seminars regularly to stay current on hearing aid technology and best practices. Away from the office, she spends her time with her husband and their dog, Oscar, travels to new places, and catches up with friends.
